Hello from the blog
This is a test post. It exists so you can see how a post reads before writing a real one — the heading above comes from the title field, the line under it on the blog index comes from the summary field, and this is the body.
What you can write
The body understands a small amount of markup, and nothing else. That is deliberate: anything typed here renders as text rather than markup, so a stray angle bracket can never become a tag.
Sections
Two hashes make a section heading with a rule above it. Three make a smaller one, like this.
You can write bold and italic, and link to a page on the site or to somewhere else entirely. Lists work too:
- One thing
- Another thing
- A third, for luck
Comments
Published posts take comments, with the same rules as games: the person who wrote one can delete it, so can staff, and two reports hide it into the moderation queue.
The picture
The image at the top is 480x270 — the same shape as a game preview, so a row of posts and a row of games sit together without either looking wrong. This one is borrowed from a game; a real post would use its own.
